SKULL SKINS HELMET SOCK

Err..I'm not sure what to make of these things. If you've just spent a couple of hundred quid on a spanking new lid, would you really want to cover it up with one of these? Okay, maybe if you've got a minging old lid this "sock" might improve the looks.
Is it a good idea or have I just climbed out of bed on the wrong side this morning?
The green one looks good for the blind kamikazi run.
