Victors 5-a-day

Victor has been struggling against adversity here in Bromont today. Remember that brolley he so fondly told us about at the end of this video? Well it snapped in two, leaving the Irishman and his equipment at the mercy of the Bromont rain. Stay tuned for an exciting umbrella update.
The pressure was on for Sam Hill to win this one, aside from
his recent bad luck, he needed the points before heading home to the Australian World Cup where the course might not suit him too well.

When it comes to gnarly technical courses, none of the girls
can really touch Rachel Atherton. 4 seconds up on the split, she cruised home for a clear win.

The crowds gather for the final runs over the Slippery Rocks
of Death. For many, this was where a good run turned to disaster. Even in 25 degrees and no rain, this hell hole never dried out.

Even after going over the bars on the start of the
semi-final, Rafael Alvarez still made it through the rough and tumble and cleared off for another win.

With only 9 girls racing, it was easy to miss the action in
just 4 races. But Anneke Beerten added to her series lead with another win.
